Moab, Utah

Once we made it to Moab, the adventures began.

We took the first day to arrive, relax, + do homework (grad school probs).

We went on a "remote trail" at Arches National Park that ended up taking us over four hours to go ten miles. Let's just say that "Four Wheel Drive Recommended" should've stated "Absolutely Positively Necessary". :) Regardless, memories were most definitely made. After our adventure we headed to the Dead Horse Canyon Lookout for some incredible views.

Since our trip to Arches didn't exactly go as planned.. we came back the next day and hiked up to the Delicate Arch. It was a sweaty but wonderful hike and I discovered I'm much more afraid of heights than I thought.

We went hiking up to a few different waterfalls and it was breath-taking. The whole week, I was constantly blown away by the view of dusty and dry red rocks while there were snow-capped mountains in the distance. God's creation is so evident in every landscape and it's amazing how much nearer to Him you feel when you just stand and take it all in.

At the end of the week we went jeeping at Hell's Revenge and it was *thrilling*. I think my screams could've been heard from afar. Our drivers were fantastic and the whole experience was so memorable.

Morgan + Valerie created a video of our trip:
